Chef
Chef wanted with previous experience in mass catering. The right person will be cost conscious
and innovative in seeking lower-cost ingredients. A person with some sort of qualification would
probably be considered as over-qualified.
Salary negotiable. | Housekeepers
Staff wanted for housekeeping duties. No previous experience necessary.
The right persons will work very quickly, and should bear in mind that in housekeeping, we consider that
Quantity is more important than Quality.
Salary is minimum wage | Care Support Workers
Carers wanted, some shift/night work involved. No previous experience necessary.
The right person will be able to keep calm even if loaded with totally unreasonable demands. Salary is minimum wage.
Note: We operate an incentive scheme: A £20 bonus is paid each month to the carer with fewest complaints. | Handyman
Handyman wanted, for general maintenance, plumbing, electrical etc.
No previous experience necessary.
A sympathetic attitude would be an asset, particularly in situations where the resident
has caused their own problems.
This is a part-time contract, we pay you for 20 hours per week (but of course if the situation
requires it, you will actually work additional hours unpaid).
Note: Many residents are willing to give tips, especially to prioritise their
own problems, so this provides a useful additional income (tax-free!). |
