Budget African Cruise evening
Our local travel agency is presenting details of a Budget African Cruise.
Your holiday starts with economy air travel (Dakota) to the cruise start point in Kuwait.
The Cruise then proceeds along the coast of Iran (obviously we'll hope to avoid any gunboats!),
round the Horn of Africa, then down the coast of Somalia (the boat is well-armed in the event
of pirate attack), and finally finishes at Kenya.
A short (3-day) overland coach ride to Libya, and we'll fly back home from there.

Football Evening
We've a premier league game on the large screen TV, and we'll have stalls with sandwiches
and beer for sale. Residents who were taken ill after the previous event
will be pleased to know that we now have a different supplier for the
sandwiches.

Anniversary Party
To celebrate the anniversary of the opening of the Silver Vistas Retirement Community, we are
holding a party, starting 6pm prompt. Mrs Cropsready is organising the food and drinks, as
well as some musical entertainment from Mr Barsending, on his spoons.
All residents are invited, and thus expected to contribute to costs, so a small charge (£20)
will be added to your accounts.

Trivia Quiz
The return of the ever popular Trivia Quiz. Rounds tonight include: Music of the 1950's, The
second world war, Film stars, Mobility accessories, and much more!
There will be a raffle, with top prize being a basket of bath salts and shampoo. |
